The NEW ENERGY CAPITAL SUMMIT (NECS) is dedicated to bringing renewable energy public and private financing together with the technology innovators, new businesses, utilities, government and regulatory agencies in order to identify key resources in moving alternative energy initiatives into the forefront of the energy marketplace for consumers and businesses alike.

The inaugural New Energy Capital Summit presented keynote speakers Jared Blumenfeld and Steve Westly last year. Blumenfeld was appointed
by President Obama as the EPA's Regional Administrator for the Pacific Southwest. Westly is managing partner of The Westly Group,
a cleantech venture capital firm, member of the Secretary of Energy's Advisory Board, and former Controller of the State of California.
At the 2013 NECS, industry leaders, including seasoned veterans from
throughout the US encompassing government, academia, debt and equity
financiers, businesses and regulatory agencies will speak to attendees
seeking to learn more about new energy financing through the latest
private and government sources and on strategies to grow businesses,
advance technology, and diversify investments.
